Free Movie: Live in Asia

The Christmas season is a time of giving. So I thought for this year, I'd show my appreciation to everyone who has supported me and this website by giving away a free movie. 

This is a movie on my recent Asia Tour, "The Manchild Tour", recorded at the Home Club in Singapore with footages from the Live Comedy Club in Taiwan and the Take Out Comedy Club in Hong Kong. It includes an insider's interview with Umar Rana, a full performance at Comedy Masala, and bonus footages of me doing stupid things.

What's So Funny?

On Dec 8th, 2013 at 11PM I had the privilege of being on an award-nominated radio show and podcast, What's So Funny? with the great Guy MacPherson on 100.5 FM Vancouver Co-op Radio. Of course, being the genius that I am, I managed to GPS the wrong address and drove myself to an abandoned laundromat in a rental car, because I also managed to GPS'ed my car into a curb the week before.

For those who missed it, the episode is right at the bottom of this update. The ending is slightly cut off but I have no clue how to fix it, because I am desperately trying to let my race down.

If you think this is bad, wait till you see me play videos games.

No Morevember

I woke up this morning and realized November was over, and the last time I have updated anyone with any news was on Halloween day. 

It's surreal how quickly time passes.

November has been a blur. I managed to reunite with a brother of mine, crash a car, eat the biggest salad I've ever seen, do a show in front of the US Navy, do a show for a 30 hour improv fest, do a show for disabled, yet unbelievably brave people, meet an amazing newspaper reporter, experience some family drama, almost have gout, develop allergies on my wrist, and watch my dog paint the kitchen with poo. 

All in all, it's been a humbling and fascinating blur, and I'm thankful for it all.

David Andrew Brent and myself will be in Kelowna and Kamloops BC for the final few stops of the Media Attention Tour. Check out the tour page for more info.

By the way, I didn't (or should I say, couldn't) grow a moustache. But this is what I would look like if I did, or could.

The Media Attention Tour

Looks like I'm hitting the road again. This time the tour name was again put together without undergoing any form of thought process. In other words,  I came up with it on the way home one day from eating ramen.

Canasian: The CD Release

Halloween is usually the day I dress up and prance around as some idiotic cartoon creature, and it is also the day where my parents turn off all their lights because apparently candy is as expensive as diamonds. 

However, this Halloween I'm excited to announce that my first CD, Canasian, will be released. The CD was recorded at the Live Comedy Club in Taipei during the Asia Manchild Tour, and it will be available on Oct 31st, 2013 digitally on iTunes, Amazon, Googleplay for $9.99 and all other major outlets. You can also purchase digital copies for $4.99 and hard copies for $8.99 at the merch store .
