Comedy Time TV

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly time flies. It also never ceases to amaze me how much of that time I spend on googling cheats for the game Beastie Bay, which is basically Pokemon for the iPhone. How can you not love a game where there's a character called "Grizzly Bearington".

Pure genius.

Anyways, in the midst of my infantile search pursuit on the internet, I stumbled across a few video segments from the taping I did for Comedy Time TV last year at the Ice House Comedy Club. Without further ado, here are the clips:

Gage the Superhero

In the world of Youtube comments and endless tweets, sometimes I receive message that are truly inspirational. 

The young man pictured above, Gage Staley, is battling a rare cancerous condition called Neuroblastoma. Gage is only 7 years old.  

To aid Gage, a support group called Gage's Guardians gathered together and created a superhero theme in helping Gage through his life journey. 

The next adventure? A superhero party at the Walnut Boston Pizza on June 23rd, one at 1PM and the other at 2:30PM.  Superhero outfits are 100% necessary.

Banana Phone

Sometimes I have so much trust in my phone that I assume it is capable of reading my mind. This is the conversation that occurred 2 days ago due to this phenomenon. ​​​

Calls girlfriend​​ 007 style in the car. Hands free and without looking.

Person: Hello?

Me: Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii (in the accent of Kermit the Frog).

Person: ​Um...hello?

Me: Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii (in the accent of Kermit the Frog with a Chinese accent).

​Person: ​This is the dentist's office, how can I help you?

Me: Uh...I was wondering..uh...if I can double check my appointment to make sure it's happening at the time that..uh...I thought it was going to happen because I think I made an appointment that I don't think I did. 

Hangs up the phone immediately. Cries on the inside.

Don't drive and dial, kids.

The Return of the Photo Shoot

​So when I was in Wilmington, North Carolina, I had the privilege of having another photo shoot done by the fabulous and amazingly patient Katherine Clark. Check out her work if you get the chance! 

​So it began when I found a pink garbage can and forgot how to smile.

​Then I did this.

Quickly after I became a bit Asian. Quite a bit.​

I somehow managed to look serious.

Then I got carried away.​

I think I'm allergic to cameras.​

So I found a picture of myself when I used to be in a heavy metal band. I think the picture is pretty self-explanatory as to what happened.

The Unbelieveable From Cape Fear

Last weekend I had the honor of performing at the Cape Fear Comedy Festival in Wilmington, North Carolina. The festival was unbelievably organized, the people were unbelievably welcoming, and the city was unbelievably vibrant where it served fried frog legs on a plate, and sailed a battleship on its coast. 

​The experience was so unbelievable I appeared on a podcast called The Unbelievable Podcast telling ghost stories with host Brian Frange and comedian Lonnie Bruhn. We record this entire podcast in the creepiest hallway at the Nutt Street Comedy Club.
